Our Charter President Tim Chen, BV2A, passed away at the Taipei Veterans General Hospital on the 22^nd of February 2006, aged 92 years. Tim founded the first amateur station of BV.

 

Tim was admitted to the intensive care unit on the eve of Chinese new year, 28^th January, due to the deterioration of his condition (Colon cancer). He was due to be transferred to a hospice for further care but passed away before this occurred. His family members were present at the time.

 

The funeral will take place at 10 AM on the 28^th of February at the Hwai-Yuan Hall, Taipei Veterans General Hospital in Shihpai, Taipei. .
